TARGETED AMERICA

OVERVIEW

NOTE: This is a living website. Sometimes you'll find an incomplete page or two, but that's just a sign that new content is on its way - please check back often!

Targeted America is a New Type of Organization!

Education and Self Representation

The Legal Overview Section of the website helps targets learn about law. You can read up on federal and state laws and targeted cases to learn what opportunities exist for us, what has worked and what hasn't. You also can learn how to represent yourself. Targeted America is the first organization to offer this kind of help.

We also have credible articles and documents to help you support your claims about organized stalking, directed energy weapons and other aspects of targeting. These can be found in the In the News and Targeted Evidence sections. Finally, we have information about groups and reference websites that may be of help/use to you in the Organizations and Research Resources section.

Over the summer, we will be developing our Medical section to help you get medical assistance and documentation of what is being done to your bodies to help in your legal cases.

Public Awareness

Our first priorities as an organization are providing you with legal education and medical information. We plan to begin most of our public awareness efforts in the fall. In the meantime, we will be adding flyers to the Public Awareness page.

Action

On the other hand, we have links to actions that you can take NOW to help ITPs win this war.

This is a collaborative effort!

Targeted America is a community collaboration and we welcome your input.

Legal

We will be sharing and learning about the law from each other as we progress in our quests for justice. Please feel free to submit cases and laws for us to review for relevance.  See blue box below.

Why We Use the Term "Illegally Targeted Person (People)" instead of "Targeted Individual(s)"

We have decided not to use the term "Targeted Individual." It does not convey that what is being done to us is highly illegal.  Instead, it encourages associations with
  • criminality and terrorism
  • isolation
  • tin hats and mental illness.

By using the term "Illegally Targeted Person/People" or ITP(s) we:

1) Highlight the Illegality of the Surveillance, Harassment and Torture to Which We Are Subjected

There are no legal grounds for anyone to spy on, harass or torture us. We are being illegally targeted and are victims of numerous violations of human and civil rights. By adding "Illegally" to the beginning of our title, we highlight the fact that WE are the victims here.

2) Eliminate Associations with Criminality and Terrorism

Anyone who is under surveillance by law enforcement, the military, or intelligence agencies is a "targeted individual." "Targeted individuals" are suspected of being criminals or terrorists or are on kill lists.

We are not criminals or terrorists and don't want to associate ourselves with crime or terror.

3) Eliminate Associations with Isolation

While it's true that one could use either "individual" or "person" to describe a human being, we prefer "person". "Individual" conjures up associations of isolation. Likewise, we prefer the term "people" to "individuals" because "people" suggests commonality, while "individuals" is a collection of "ones".

4) Align Ourselves with Others Who Are Recognized to Be Illegally Targeted, like Journalists, Whistleblowers and Activists

People seeking to destroy our credibility and deflect attention from their own crimes have ridiculed, misrepresented, vilified and impersonated "Targeted Individuals" in print and video for years. But there is growing recognition that many journalists, whistleblowers and activists have been illegally targeted for surveillance and violence by law enforcement. We have an opportunity to show that we have these experiences in common and, therefore, will be publishing only ideas and images that people in the broader community can identify with.
